Library Material Loan Periods

• Books can be checked out for 21 days
• Course reserves vary depending on the instructor. Loan periods can range from 3 hours to the entire semester.
• Headphones can be checked out for 3 hours, in library use only.
• Laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots can be checked out for the semester (with a filled out request from an Cuyamaca College faculty or staff member).
• Calculators can be checked out for the semester or 1 day.
• Study rooms can be checked out for 2 hours.

Books can be renewed an unlimited number of times as long as another student has not put a hold on it. Course reserves and study rooms may be checked out again if no students are waiting for them. You can come into the library or contact the Circulation desk at cuyamaca.circulation@gcccd.edu or (619) 660-4416 to renew your materials. 

All materials are due by the end of the semester and cannot be renewed past that date.
