If the Cuyamaca College Library does not have the book or article you need, you can put in an Interlibrary Loan request and we can try to get the materials you need.

We do not charge a fee for Interlibrary Loan services. 

• Physical books may take up to 1-2 weeks depending on mail delivery.
• Articles or book chapters will be sent to you by email as a PDF. Average turnaround time is within 2-3 business days. In rare instances, an article or book cannot be fulfilled due to loan restrictions, costs, or other reasons. 

Request for the following materials cannot be filled: 

• Textbooks
• eBooks
• Whole issues or volumes of journals
• Maps and atlases
• Software
• Rare, fragile, and special collection books
• Videos and DVDs
• Sound recordings
