How do I check out a book from the library?

When you're ready to check out at our library, take your book(s) and/or other items to the circulation/front desk.

Be ready to provide your student ID number. You do not need a student ID card or a special library card to check out books, CD audiobooks, DVDs, and reserve items; simply know your SCCCD student ID number.

Most items from the library's open shelves can be checked out for 6 weeks. Renewal options are available. More about loan periods and fees can be found on the links provided.
