The library has a limited number of study rooms available for student use. Reserve a room in person at the circulation desk, reserve a room online up to three days in advance, or scan the QR code on the study room doors to make a reservation.

Study Room Use policies:

  • Rooms are only available during the days and times that the physical Library is open.
  • Available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Reservations in advance can be made in person or online up to three business days in advance.
  • Study rooms are for CCC students' academic purposes.
  • The individual who checks out the study room is responsible for the condition of the room and should return the furniture to the original arrangement.
  • Patrons already in a room cannot sign up for another room or extend the duration.
  • Rooms are NOT to be used for functions such as meetings, classes, seminars, or lectures; other facilities are available for these activities.
  • Once a group has signed up for a room, they should remain in the room. If the group needs to leave the library for some reason, all belongings must be taken. The library is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
  • Rooms left unattended for 15 minutes will be forfeited if another group needs the room. Any belongings will be taken to lost and found in the Admissions and Records office.
  • The library reserves the right to inspect study rooms at any time and to remove unauthorized materials or prohibited items.
  • The rooms are not soundproof; users should be sensitive to the need for quiet in order not to disturb other library users.
  • No food or drink is allowed in the study rooms.
  • When you are done with the room, please wipe down whiteboards, push in chairs, throw away any trash, and switch off the lights.
