How can I find an article with only a DOI number?

If you only have a DOI number and need to find the title, you can paste the DOI number into the library OneSearch search bar. Make sure you remove the "https://doi.org/" from the beginning of the number first. (For example, search for "10.2298/TSCI141112131U" instead of "https://doi.org/10.2298/TSCI141112131U")

If nothing comes up when you search the library catalog, try putting the DOI into the Resolve a DOI Name search box. Or, if you only have the DOI, you can do the opposite of above and add "https://doi.org/" to the front of it to create a hyperlink. Paste that link into a browser window and it should take you to the journal page where the article lives. If it isn't available in full text and the library doesn't have access to the article, you can request it through interlibrary loan.
