My instructor provided a broken link to a resource. How can I access it?

You should first notify your instructor about any broken links. If you have trouble accessing a resource, it's likely that everyone else will, too!

If you have any information about the resource, such as the title or author's name, try searching for it using the library OneSearch bar. Hopefully the title will come up. Click on that, then look for the database link under "View Online." This should take you to the resource, although you may first need to log in with your college email address and password.

If you don't have any luck finding the resource there, reach out to the library staff through email, chat, etc. Provide us with the broken URL as well as the title and any other information you have about the resource and we'll try to track it down!

Sometimes databases change the way their links are formatted and not everything redirects properly. Other times, the database company loses its license to host the resource, and the resource will be taken down completely.
