Where can I read my textbook in print?

If you want to read a print version of your textbook, you can first check our Textbooks on Reserve [PDF] list, which is updated each semester, or you can search for the title in the library catalog. You can also ask for the title at the library circulation desk. Make sure you have the title or the course name handy, such as ART 101.

We keep our textbooks in the library reserve collection, which is behind the circulation desk at the IWV Ridgecrest campus, or in a locked cabinet at the Bishop, Mammoth, or Tehachapi campuses, so you will need to ask a member of the staff to access these books. Reserve textbooks must stay in the library, but you can check them out for as long as you need, until the library closes.

You can find more information about textbooks on our Reserve Textbooks guide.

If we don't have your textbook or if your instructor asks you to get an access card, you may need to order it from the college bookstore.
