Please be advised that sound travels very well in the LRC building between the first and second floors. You don't need to speak in a whisper, but do be considerate of those around you. Do not play media without headphones.

If you need a quieter space to study, we have study rooms available. These are not sound proof, but we have noise-cancelling headphones available at the circulation desk.

If others are being too noisy in the library, please let the library staff know at the circulation desk. We can't advise people to lower their voices or media volume if we don't know that it is bothering someone.
