If my professor says I can't use the Internet for my paper, am I limited to using books?

This will depend on your instructor, but the general answer is: Not at all!

You may not be allowed to use open web resources, but you can probably still use electronic resources you find through our library catalog or databases, such as eBooks and newspaper, magazine, or journal articles. Many of these resources are simply electronic versions of print information, meaning that they are still scholarly, and will probably work for your paper.

You can always run potential resources by your instructor, or ask a librarian if you have any questions.
