What if the library doesn't have the book I need?

Answer

If we don't have the book or article you need for your research, we can try to obtain it through Interlibrary LoanWe will let you know when we receive your item, and you will have one week to pick it up before we send it back. Most ILL books check out for three weeks.

Please be aware that the outside libraries lending the material get to determine the conditions of use, such as the amount time you can keep the item and whether or not you can renew it. While we strive to borrow from free lenders, some libraries do charge for lending their materials. We will notify you in advance if this is the only option, and if you still choose to borrow the item, you will be required to pay any and all costs when you pick up your request.
