Yes, the library is open to everyone, including visitors and community members!

Check our hours to find out when we are open. If you are visiting the IWV campus in Ridgecrest, you may also need to purchase and print a daily guest parking permit.

If you want to use the computers in the library, you will need to sign in at the circulation desk and notify library staff so we can log you in to the computer. During busy times, students will be given priority.

If you want to check out materials, bring a photo ID and proof of your local mailing address so that we can get you into our library system. You will be limited to checking out 1 item at a time. Interlibrary loans and off-campus access to online resources are only available to current students and employees.

Our study rooms are first-come, first-serve, and students will be given priority. Please check out our Study Rooms page for more information.
