Do I have access to O'Reilly ebooks? Can I use them "offline"?
CCSF students, staff, and faculty have access to the O'Reilly platform. It requires a special login process.

Accessing O'Reilly
In order for the CCSF community to access the O'Reilly platform content (including ebooks and videos), these steps must be followed:
On the A-Z Databases webpage, click O'Reilly for Higher Education. - Do not use the dropdown menu for "Select your institution." Instead, click the link below that is labeled 'Institution not listed?'
- In the box labeled "Enter academic email," type your CCSFmail account address and click the red "Let's Go" button.
- When your access loads, you will see a screen that says "Welcome to the O'Reilly Learning Platform!" On this page, click the red "Got It" button.
- Search for the content you need.

O'Reilly Offline
To access an O'Reilly ebook "offline," you must preload it to a mobile device (such as a smart phone or tablet) using their app. To download an O'Reilly ebook:
- Establish your O'Reilly account using your school email address
- Download the O'Reilly app onto your device from your app store
- Login to the app using your O'Reilly account credentials
- Use "Browse" to locate the book you need
- Click on the Book name and use the "Download Book" button to put it on your device
