What is the status of my book/computer/hotspot request?

Popular items may have a waitlist but many requests only take a few days to fulfill.

Answer

To look up the status of any library request, including books, laptops, Chromebooks, hotspots, calculators, etc, login to your CCSF Library Account with your RAM ID. Then navigate to the "Requests" tab.

  • If your request is "On Hold Shelf until xx/xx/xxxx," make sure to check your @mail.ccsf.edu email account.
    • A confirmation message is emailed to the CCSFmail account when items are ready.
  • If your request is "In Process," your request is not ready yet.
    • Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email when it is ready.
  • If your request is "In Process. Place in queue is: X," there are several people in line for this item and your place in line is the number.
    • Once your request has been processed, you will receive an email when it is ready.
