Can I transfer my citation from EBSCO to NoodleTools?

Yes. If you found an article in an EBSCO database, you can transfer the citation for the item into your NoodleTools project.

Answer

1. If you are looking at the EBSCO item, open a second browser tab to make sure you are logged into your NoodleTools account.

  • You have a paid subscription through the CCSF Library, provided that you have logged in with your CCSFmail account, via the Google login for NoodleTools.

2. In EBSCO (while looking at your chosen item), click the Export icon. [The Export icon is a white sheet of paper with a green arrow on top.]

3. Still in EBSCO, click "Direct Export to NoodleTools" and click "Save."

4. Check the reference/citation for accuracy.

5. Select the NoodleTools project where you want it to be imported, or click the default New Project.

6. Click "Import References."

7. Go to the same project in NoodleTools, then select the Sources tab to see your newly imported reference/citation.
